Guide for Author

The journal publishes original research and reviews in engineering fields such as mechanical, civil, electrical, electronics, computer, chemical, materials, and related interdisciplinary areas.Accepted article types may include: Research Articles, Review Articles, Short Communications/Technical Notes, Case Studies, and Letters to the Editor, each with defined length and structure on the journal website.

Manuscript preparation

Manuscripts must be written in clear English, logically organized, and follow a standard structure: Title page, Abstract and Keywords, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusions, Acknowledgements, References, and Appendices as needed. The text should use consistent formatting (font, line spacing, headings), SI units, and standard engineering notation, with figures and tables numbered consecutively and cited in the text.

Title page, Abstract, and Keywords

The title page must include: concise informative title, full author names, affiliations and the contact details of the corresponding author (email, address). Abstracts should briefly state purpose, methods, key results, and conclusions (typically 150–250 words) followed by 3–6 keywords that reflect the main engineering concepts and are suitable for indexing.

Referencing and Formatting

References must be complete and consistent, including author names, article/chapter title, journal/book title, year, volume, and pages or article number; use of DOIs is strongly encouraged.

The journal should specify an accepted reference style (e.g., IEEE, Vancouver, APA, or a proprietary numeric style) and whether strict formatting is required at first submission or only after acceptance.

Authorship, ethics, and conflicts

Only those who made substantial contributions to conception/design, data acquisition, analysis, or interpretation, and to drafting or revising the paper, should be listed as authors; all authors approve the final version and share responsibility for the work.

Authors must confirm that the work is original, not under consideration elsewhere, complies with research and publication ethics (including proper citation and permissions), and that all funding and conflicts of interest are fully disclosed in a dedicated statement.

Use of AI and language tools

AI tools (e.g., language models, code assistants) cannot be listed as authors; authors must take full responsibility for content generated with such tools and disclose any substantial AI use in the manuscript or acknowledgements as per journal policy.

Language editing services and grammar tools may be used to improve clarity, but they do not change authorship criteria and do not remove the authors’ accountability.

Submission and peer review

Manuscripts should be submitted through the journal’s online submission system or email as specified, with all required files: main text, figures, tables, supplementary material, cover letter, and any ethical approval documents.

The journal uses peer review (single‑blind, double‑blind, or open) and authors will receive an editorial decision (accept, minor revision, major revision, reject) together with reviewers’ comments and deadlines for resubmission.

Revisions, Proofs and Publication

In revisions, authors must submit a marked‑up manuscript and a detailed response to reviewers explaining how each comment has been addressed or justified.

After acceptance, page proofs will be sent to the corresponding author for final checking of typographical errors only, with limited time for corrections before online and/or print publication.

Ethics and Policies

Journal Ethics Statement

The journal is committed to integrity in research and publication, following COPE Core Practices and ICMJE Recommendations for conduct, reporting, editing, and publication.

All parties (authors, editors, reviewers, publisher, and society) must uphold fairness, transparency, and respect, without discrimination, harassment, bullying, or retaliation.

Research involving humans/animals must have prior ethical approval, informed consent where applicable, and comply with relevant national/international regulati

Author responsibilities

Authors must ensure originality, accurate reporting of methods and data, proper citation of others’ work, and no fabrication, falsification, or plagiarism (including self‑plagiarism and redundant publication).

Authorship is limited to those who made substantial contributions; all authors approve the final version and accept public responsibility for its content, with contributorship described in the article.

All financial and non‑financial conflicts of interest and funding sources must be fully disclosed; authors must cooperate with editors on corrections, retractions, or explanations when issues arise.

Peer review and editorial duties

The journal uses a defined peer‑review model (single‑blind/double‑blind/open) and provides accurate descriptions of review, selection, and appeals processes on its website.

Editors make decisions based on scholarly merit, originality, relevance, and clarity, not on authors’ race, gender, religion, nationality, or political views (“fair play”).

Reviewers must provide objective, courteous, and timely reports, keep all manuscripts confidential, declare any conflicts of interest, and alert editors if they suspect misconduct.

Misconduct, corrections, and data

The journal defines and actively investigates suspected misconduct (plagiarism, duplicate submission, data fabrication/falsification, unethical research, undisclosed conflicts) using COPE flowcharts and guidance.

If serious errors or misconduct are confirmed, the journal will publish corrections, expressions of concern, or retractions promptly, ensuring the scholarly record is accurate and complete.

Authors are encouraged or required to make data and materials available (via repositories or on request) in line with discipline norms, with clear data availability statements in all research articles.

Copyright, open access, and other policies

The journal clearly states its copyright and licensing model (e.g., copyright retained by authors under a Creative Commons license or transferred to the publisher), and what counts as prior/pre‑publication (preprints, theses, conference proceedings).

All publication fees (APCs), waivers, and additional charges (if any) are transparent on the website, and advertising or sponsored content does not influence editorial decisions.

The journal provides a complaints and appeals procedure (for authors, reviewers, and readers), and a privacy policy for handling personal data and confidential information.

Editorial Board

Editorial evaluations and editorial decisions

The Editors are responsible for handling manuscripts, from submission through to final decision.
